Peter Doerfer

With over 25 years of international experience, Peter Doerfer has built an accomplished career as a managing director, consultant, technical trainer, and course developer. His technical expertise spans systems management, OS deployment, and storage virtualization, with a proven track record in delivering both on-site and remote consulting and training worldwide. As one of the founders of Software Factory, which has become IM Cybersec, he built up the company and, within a few years, turned it into a service and solution provider serving customers throughout Europe.

As Managing Director at IM CyberSec, Peter leads the company’s strategic direction and oversees the delivery of high-level cybersecurity and systems management solutions. He plays a key role in shaping training programs and ensuring service excellence through consulting, coaching, and technical enablement. Drawing from his deep expertise in infrastructure and security, Peter focuses on building scalable, secure solutions and empowering clients with the knowledge and tools to manage their environments effectively.
