The new Favorites feature helps admins reduce repetitive clicks by bookmarking frequently used pages.
Key benefits include:
– Available in both Admin and System UI
– Up to 50 favorites per UI
– Drag-and-drop ordering, search, and quick delete
– Works with static pages for cleaner, faster navigation

For large environments, this means significant time saved every day.

The dashboard has been completely redesigned to give admins more flexibility, clarity, and control.

– Modern layouts & themes, with full drag-and-drop customization
– Multiple dashboards per user, each with its own purpose
– Advanced widget improvements: Build from scratch or using SQL, Chart options (bar, line, gauge, doughnut, geo, and more), Multiple versions of the same widget, User-role or label-based visibility, Export, refresh, modify charts instantly
– Dashboard sharing via email, scheduled or on-demand
– Performance boosts with optimized caching

This is the biggest dashboard update KACE has released—and it’s built for enterprise-scale monitoring.

Patch management becomes smarter with new security-driven data points:

– CVSS & EPSS scores
– Known exploit vulnerabilities
– Ransomware campaign indicators
– Data sourced from NIST, MITRE, FIRST.org

Plus, new widgets allow instant visibility into risk exposure and patch status. You can now build truly intelligent, security-oriented patching dashboards.

Admins can now choose whether Linux upgrades apply:

– Only security patcher, or
– All available patches

This brings more control and alignment with compliance policies. Note: Some distros will still update all packages by design.

FreeBSD syslog has been replaced with a modern secure logging engine.

– Support for logging over secure TCP with TLS
– Captures SSH activity, remote consoles, invalid logins
– SMA now auto-generates certs for secure authentication

Important: existing syslog configurations will no longer work—new secure settings must be applied after upgrading.

Script logs are now kept based on the number of script runs (default 7) rather than time limits.
This reduces performance bottlenecks and keeps storage predictable.

Note: All existing agent logs will be wiped during upgrade. Export anything important beforehand.

Remote support becomes smoother and more reliable.

– Streamer version added to device details
– Upload streamer logs for troubleshooting
– Remote control button inside ticket details
– Custom session settings & blank-screen logo
– Support for two simultaneous sessions

Navigation has been simplified with fast-access links to:

– Label Management
– Smart Labels
– LDAP Labels
– Security Settings
– Service Desk pages
